2011 League Format

Dates
The 2011 season will begin on Sunday, June 5th for Masters, Grand Masters and Women's Open and Thursday, June 9th for Men's Open, and run a regular Thursday/Sunday night schedule for 8 weeks through Thursday, July 28th. There will be no games July 4th weekend. Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st will play host to the playoff and championship games (Schedule TBA). Please see the Schedules page for detailed information. All games will be played at Maxwell Park located on Badgley Road, Dewitt. Please see the Fields/Map page for detailed maps and directions.

The UOLL is comprised of 4 separate divisions:

Men's Open A - Ages 17-30
Thursday Evenings, 6, 7, 8 and 9pm.

Men's Open B - Ages 17-30
Thursday Evenings, 6, 7, 8 and 9pm.
Masters - Ages 30+
Sunday Evenings, 5, 6, 7 and 8pm.

Grand Masters - Ages 45+

Sunday Evenings

All divisions will adhere to NCAA Lacrosse Rules in conjunction with UOLL Amendments found under Bylaws. Players are required to use their best judgment during play with regards to checking and physical contact. Intentional bodily harm and violence will result in immediate suspension from the league. There will be a "limited contact" policy in effect for all games played in the Masters Division. Flagrant use of force and intent to injure WILL NOT be tolerated. Players failing to adhere to this policy will be penalized using the same schedule found in the league bylaws under "Verbal Referee Confrontations/Fighting/Deliberate Personal Fouls". Referees/League Directors have control over this policy in all instances.

Eligibility
All participating players must be a minimum of 17 years of age (*Players under the age of 18 will need a signed parent/guardian consent form before being permitted to play). Before the start of league play, all individuals must be registered players of the UOLL. The following documentation is required:

1.  A Completed Registration Form (eRegistration or Paper)

2.  Completed Insurance Waiver Form (eRegistration or Paper)

3.  Payment in Full (eRegistration or Paper)


All rosters will be finalized by the start of the second week. Players who are not registered by the second week of play will be ineligible for the remainder of the season.

Team Registration
All teams will have a minimum of 15 players on the roster by the second week of play. Each team will be responsible to delegate one person to act as the captain/contact person.

The UOLL reserves the right, with permission of team captains, to place up to two free agents on each team.

Registration Fees
Please note that due to an increase in the cost of our overall operations, we are forced to raise the registration fees $5 this season. Pre-registration fee for all players is $95.00. This fee includes registration/administration fees, insurance, league officials, fields (lighted/chalked) and a reversible jersey. Pre-registration will run from Monday, May 2nd through Wednesday, May 25th. Any registrations received after May 25th will be $105.00 per player. No refunds will be issued after Sunday, May 28th.

Individuals Looking for a Team (Free Agents)
Players who are interested in playing but lack team association are encouraged to contact us. The UOLL will make every attempt to place players seeking a team by putting the individual in contact with other registered team captains. The UOLL cannot be held responsible for players not placed on a team.
